I received my PhD from the University of South Carolina in 1988. I have an MPA degree from UNC and a BA in Sociology from Syracuse University. I teach a variety of courses, including American Government, Judicial Politics, Gender Theory, and four other undergraduate level Public Administration courses. My current research interests include the political socialization of college students and how governmental units address pet overpopulation.
