I received my PhD from the University
of South Carolina in
1988. I have an MPA degree from UNC and a BA in Sociology from Syracuse University. I teach a variety of courses,
including American Government, Judicial Politics, Gender Theory, and five other
undergraduate level Public Administration courses. My current research
interests include the political socialization of college students, women and
politics, and how governmental units address pet overpopulation.
