American politics and institutions, southern politics, South Carolina politics, research methods, public opinion, the Vietnam War

African-Americans and the Palmetto State, co-author, a social studies text for the S.C.

Department of Education, 1994.
Government's Role in the Future of S.C., monograph prepared for the S.C. Assembly

on the Future, co-chaired by the Governor and Lt. Governor of S.C., 1988.
Five textbook chapters: three on interest groups in S.C., one on African-Americans in

S.C., and one on human service delivery.
Over $130,000 in small grants, most of which went to students and equipment.
