Officer Scott Chavis
Police Officer
Scott,
an Aiken native and graduate of South Aiken High School, began his law
enforcement career in January of 2000 at Ehrhardt Police Department.
Later, he left Ehrhardt to return to his hometown to join the Aiken
County Sheriff's office, where he obtained the rank of Corporal and he
was the Field Training Officer on his shift. He then came to work for
USCA Police in March of 2002. Scott also serves as the departments rep
and police coordinator for the USCA Convocation Center events.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys riding motorcycles and is a Major in the Aiken chapter of the Defenders, a law enforcement motorcycle club. Scott also enjoys hunting, fishing and scuba diving.
