Mission Accomplished

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying the most dreaded week of the entire year. It is time to start packing and moving on with our lives. For some that means going home for the summer to work, others are going to spend it at the beach. The Seniors are graduating, and starting a whole new journey. Freshman will no longer be the "new guys". It is has been such a fast year, and we have come so far. We have met new people, and gained a lot of friendships. We have such great student leaders on this campus, it will be so exciting to see who the pacesetters help bring into the school. I hope that everyone has a relaxing summer filled with tons of fun and excitement. I am so ready for this summer. I am moving back to Columbia in June, and I will be moving to Texas later in the summer. Whoo hoo! God is AWESOME!

I wish safe travels and blessings to you all.

Spring in is the air-

Hello USCA!!!

Beautiful weather, last week of classes, how can this month get any better!??!?! Oh, yeah...EXAMS! I hope every is ready to finish the semester strong. I have been super busy with work and keeping up with classes. I feel as if my head is spinning. My last statistics exam is tomorrow morning. Then I am finished till exam week.

On the flip side of things, my best friend is graduating from Parris Island this weekend, and I have another friend returning from Iraq. Talk about joy and pride. And on top of welcoming home some of the people closest to me, I am going to process at Fort Jackson this weekend. Lets just say this weekend is going to be full of adventures. :]

Hello All,

There is only 24 days left of school.(YES, I am counting) I know everyone is excited. So make sure you finish out these last couple tests and papers. I promise it will be here before we know it. Yay!

I have been super busy with school, and work. This pollen is driving me crazy! Just today I went into the parking lot, the whole lot was YELLOW not black but yellow. Yuck. THANK GOODNESS for the rain! To wash all the yellow away. This weekend is Pacers and Polo, I am so excited to be working it along with the rest of the Pickens-Salley Staff. They work so hard and the final product is always memorable and amazing. I am so proud to work with such talented co-workers!

On a different note, I can't wait till the semester is over. Ah, it is my last semester in Aiken! I am enjoying every moment of it. I absolutely love it here, the people you meet will remain in your heart forever! I can't believe the oppurtunities that I have been so fortunate to be part of.

Hey! I had a thought today. Have you ever looked back and realized that you had a person in your life that has always been there for you? I hope you do, I think mostly everyone has that one person and never realizes it. When you find the time, I encourage you to go up to them and personally thank them. Hope everyone had a great week, and enjoyed cramming for midterms!!

Achieve.

Hello!

So excited Spring Break is in 7 days....that also means midterms!!! Don't get all caught up in Spring Break and let these grades slip. You will regret it later. I am doing the same ol' thing, keeping busy and just enjoying life. I am currently making plans for the summer, seeing what God has in store for me. Its crazy thinking about making plans for after this semester but after Spring Break it is all down hill from there and is just a matter of surviving finals and we are hasta la vista!! As spring arrives it is time to get out and enjoy Aiken. Go out to Odell weeks, you can enjoy the sunshine and everything it has to offer. Here is a quote to inspire your day! :)

"You have to recognize when the right place and the right time fuse and take advantage of that opportunity. There are plenty of opportunities out there. You can't sit back and wait."

The semeseter is almost half way over (in a couple weeks). Spring break is right around the corner!!! I hope everyone is preparing to have a good mental break. I know I am ready. I have made some large decisions in my life lately, I am remaining close to my faith and guidance to help me through these next few steps in life.
Hello! I am so excited for a new semester of possibilities. I am taking six classes this semster, which is crazy, but I am enjoying it. I hope everyone is getting a good grasp on their class schedules. I know there is so much going on around campus. I can't believe we got SNOW yesterday. I know we still had class which wasnt our preference, but it was so beautiful to look at. Freshmen, you are probably feeling a lot closer to being sophomores. Seniors are counting down the days.... Only a little bit longer and it will be summer time. I am already going to have my first exam in a week. CRAZY...but I hope everyone has a great rest of the week. STAY WARM!! :]

Hey ya'll!

I am working a lot over the Holiday break!!! :) My brother is home safe and sound from the military. I am enjoying every minute with him. I know he is loving the "civilian" life as well. I have absolutely no idea how this holiday is going to go. I think this is my first christmas that I realize how much I do NOT want presents and ALL I want is my family. I am so thankful to have every member of my family together again. We can actually go out to dinner together and it be ALL six of us! I hope everyone has wonderful Christmas. Eventhough I dont think we are going to get a White Christmas this year seeing it is going to be 70 degrees on Christmas. I hope it is Merry and FUN! Treasure every moment.

With ALL my love!

From the top of the tree to the bottom of my heart.... Happy Holidays!

Oh my we did it...one more semester done. I hope everyone survived. The past couple of weeks have been so crazy. With the budget cuts and everyone trying to conserve as much money as possible. Christmas shopping becomes just making delicious baked goods and a joyful holiday card. I almost enjoy the little things such as a Holiday card. It is more convenient & affordable for everyone. You give people the warmest wishes during the holidays. Trying to look on the bright side of these hard time. Everyone will hopefully get to experience the TRUE meaning of Christmas. Not many presents are being exchanged this year. It is ALL about LOVE. Enjoying the time with family and friends. Friendships reform after a cold period of doubt. Everything that seemed to be falling apart starts falling back together in way that no one ever imagined. I am so thankful for the time I share with the ones I love and I hope you take the time to live every moment for what it is worth. My prayers and best wishes go out to you during the wonderful and spirited time. Take the time to enjoy your vacation away from work, school, and living your daily routine lives. Take a chance, do something outrageous and fun. Tell the people you love that you love them. There is never a day like today to change someone's life....for the better!!

My brother arrives home from the Air Force on Saturday night!!! I cant even tell you how happy and proud I am! It seems like forever since I flew out to Texas to see him. I love that my family is going to be completely reunited for the Holidays!

Hey. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I went to see my brother last week in Texas, and then got to spend the whole weekend with him. I am so proud of all the men and women that are serving our country. He shared with me all the stories of "bootcamp." Some were funny and some were kinda crazy. I got to attend church with him at Lackland AFB. It was amazing, Mark Twain's song, "Letters From War" came on and the whole group of trainees and graduates stood up and put arms around one another and started singing. It was one of the most beautiful sites ever. It was a tearful departure on Sunday when we left. But thankfully he is coming home for Christmas so it is only like a month. I am busy working on many papers, websites, and studing for exams this week... on top of suffering from some serious Jetlag. I hope everyone stays ontop of their studies and I'll talk to you again next week.

Hey everyone. Elections are done, now I hope everyone is starting to look at your schedules and getting advised for classes in the Spring. I am so ready for the end of the semester. I always going home and enjoying some good quality time with my family. Next semester will bring a lot of new changes that I hope everyone is looking forward to new classes, new teachers, and more friendships.

The ladies of Phi Mu have been working really hard on our big philanthropy event next Saturday November 15, before the tailgate in the Convocation Center. If you have any game when it comes to basketball, bring your skills and show us what you got. There are prizes that will be given. All proceeds and donations go to Children's Miracle Network. All of our new Phi Mu's are having their initiation this Sunday! YAY. I am so excited for all of our new members. They are such a wonderful addition to our sisterhood! =)

I leave in SEVEN days to Texas to see my Brother. His graduation from the Air Force is 4 days long!!! I am so excited to spend sometime with him. I havent seen him in 9 weeks. It seems that you dont realize how important family is until you are separated from them. I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe week.

A blast from the (Present)?

Hello... So it has been a really fast week. I had a huge exam tuesday. I am so thankful that was over, I studied ALL weekend for it. I am ready to listen to Chip at Cedar Creek tonight for MERGE!! =) I always look forward to the one night a week I can get away from school work and hangout with my friends and praise God. I had great dinner last night with two of my sorority sisters. It was so relaxing to just watch tv and spend time with one another.

Recently, I have realized the challenges I have been facing outside of school have been distraction. So to resolve that I had to eliminate the unimportant things and forget them. Learn to forgive the past, learn from it and embrace the future. It is time to reprioritize what really matters.

Tomorrow is one of my really Good friends and one of my sisters, BECKA WOOD'S Birthday!!! whoo hoo. I am so excited. A whole group of us are going out to dinner to celebrate. I have been looking forward to it all week. I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend. Halloween is next week. yay!
