I would like to welcome everyone to my site. Hopefully, there is something here that you will find interesting. Not to be too philosophical (but what's wrong with that), the following pages were designed to help all of us continue on our lifelong journey of inquest. Formal education is a vital part of human development, but it is by no means the ONLY part. Everyday we encounter and exchange and analyze and wonder. I believe the sole purpose of all of this is to help us become better: better friends, better citizens, better people. You will find a lot of different things on this site, from my syllabi (how boring) to a link to the Allman Brothers website and hopefully a lot in between. I hope you enjoy your visit and that you come back often. But remember, this technology stuff is new to me (the remote on my TV still amazes me). Anyway – have a great time and .......... Academics - This is where you will find the information concerning my current classes. I have posted my syllabi and other class specific information that you might need. I have also included links to sites that may help you in your research or general knowledge inquisition. Hope this helps. Campus Tour - I have a digital camera and it is about the coolest thing I have ever owned. The Campus Tour starts at the beginning and ends when it is all over. If you are not familiar with our campus, I hope this will give you a good idea of how great it is. Music - It is my humble opinion that music keeps us all sane. Here you will find links to some of my favorite musicians and bands. I have also included some music (its all legal) that you are welcome to download and enjoy. Research - It is important to know how to go and get information. This page is loaded with sites that will help you in your search for information. Some of the sites contain information that is readily available, such as the U.S. Labor Statistics page. Other sites lead you to periodicals that have some free stuff but require a subscription to read the entire thing (like the Wall Street Journal). I hope this is useful. U.S. Government - This page has links to National, State, Local, and USCA governments. Want to read the Constitution? Need to find out who your State Representative is? Need find out who your USCA Senator is so you can fuss about not enough parking? This is the page for you. Sports - My kids are sports addicts and I bet some of you are too. This will take you to the USCA Sports page as well as other local and professional sports groups (you can even go to ESPN on this page). Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society - Beta Gamma Sigma is the only international business honor society acknowledged by the AACSB. It is an honor that our School of Business Administration has been selected to host a local chapter of BGS. Business Strategy Game - The Business Strategy Game (BSG) is an integral part of ABUS 478 - Strategic Management. Students are involved in a computer simulation that lets them run an athletic shoe company, making all of the decisions. You would be surprised at who they hire and who they fire.
