Dr. Richard Heiens
Before coming to USCA, Dr. Heiens served as a Visiting Associate Professor of Marketing at Florida International University in Miami, as an Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at the Barry University Executive MBA Program in Kingston, Jamaica, and as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Texas at Tyler. Dr. Heiens has a variety of research interests, and has conducted both academic and applied research in the areas of customer loyalty, consumer segmentation, marketing communications, services marketing, and marketing strategy. His research articles have appeared in a variety of publications, including the Strategic Management Journal, the Academy of Marketing Science Review, the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, the Journal of Education for Business, the Gerontologist, the American Marketing Association's Educators' Proceedings, and several other journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Heiens gained administrative experience as the Director of the MBA program at the University of Texas at Tyler and as a member of the Board of Directors for the East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind.
