Not everyone will be a "golf professional," but many would still like to have a career in some aspect of the golf industry. The golf industry is a growing one. From 1988 to 1993, more than 1,600 new golf courses were opened in the United States.

The Golf Course Management Program will prepare you for a career in one of the most rapidly growing industries in the United States. Golf and business are intertwined. Golf is business -- a business comprised of equipment apparel, golf courses, travel, real estate development, and many other aspects. The combination of classroom instruction and 'hands-on' experience provided by working at a golf facility under the supervision of a golf professional will prepare a student to enter this growing field.
