Dr. Harrison teaches accounting and international business, specializing in managerial accounting and the financial side of international business. He brings over twenty years of work experience to the classroom supporting these areas, and is a CPA and CMA. He has helped to develop the Business School's Study Abroad program in Europe into an important educational and personal growth experience for USCA students. Visit that website, and check it out... you never know, you might be the next to go on the trip. He also works with a U.S. nuclear nonproliferation program that brings managerial training to Russia. His research interests include activity-based costing, decision-making, accounting & international education, and other accounting areas.
He is originally from New York, where he still has some strong ties, including his daughter Kathleen, son-in-law Russell and two wonderful granddaughters, Natasha (aspiring baseball star), and Hudson (named after the beautiful river where the family boats all summer). His latest degree is from Virginia Tech, where daughter numero two, Whitney Cinderella, lives (Williamsburg) with her husband Todd, and Mr. Perfect (harrison, grandson #1), Miss Cora (Chelsea, Cinderella) and recent addition Gabe (grandperson #5). Dave and Lynne (his beautiful N.Y. wife of lots of years) are very happy now in Aiken, only miss the snow hypothetically, and do whatever Monte says.
Check out Harrison's website (below) for more information, and especially for things concerning Study Abroad and current classes.
