Objectives: To practice defense under pressure with high repetitions.
Put three defenders on each half of the court, one in each of the back row positions (left back, middle back, and right back). Defenders start at cones (defensive base) and transition to their defensive spots. Coach hits a ball to one of the three defenders. Defenders attempt to dig ball to the target. After dig players touch cone and return to defensive sport as quickly as possible. When one half of the court digs four balls to the target the teams switch sides of the court. Repeat until one team digs 20 balls total to the target.
Note: Teams switch sides when a team digs four balls to the target on that one side, by fours.
