Objectives:
Practice passing, setting and hitting.
The two teams secretly give the coach a bid for the total number of contacts the team can make without the ball touching the floor.
Start the drill, the teams will pass set and tip to each other repeatedly.
When, or if the team reaches their bid have the team stop.
Scoring:
Set up punishments for each of the following scenarios:
If both teams fail to reach their goal then … (example each team has two suicides)
If both teams reach their goals then the team with the higher bid wins and the loser must ….
If one team reaches their goal and the other team does not then …
Variations:
Have the setter set behind to make passer attack off one foot.
Have one setter for each team that must switch under the net and set both sides.
