6 v 6 Games: Sideout and Rotate

Objectives:
Practice developing a terminating sideout mentality

  1. Defensive team serves to scoring team.
  2. If scoring team gets a sideout they rotate.
  3. If scoring team does not sideout in two straight serves they rotate back one (scoring team can not rotate past starting point)
  4. Count toal number of serves it takes to rotate all the way around.
  5. Scoring team becomes defensive team after rotating all the way around.
  6. Team with the least number of serves received wins.

Variations:
  1. Allow scoring team to rotate back past starting point (to increase difficulty).
  2. Increase number of rotations (from 6 to 12) to end drill.
