Ball Control: 3 Touch Team BC

Objectives:
Practice controlling the ball in a smaller area, with all three contacts.

  1. Divide Court in half down the middle.
  2. Break into groups, one on left side one on right side.
  3. One person on each side of the net on each side of the court (4 people on court), the rest in lines off the court.
  4. Player gives a half serve to player on other side of the net on their half of the court.
  5. Player has three contacts (preferably a pass, set and then a hit over) to get the ball over the net.
  6. After hitting ball over player runs to other side of net and gets in line.
  7. Repeat until ball touches ground.
  8. Set a goal for total number of touches and compete against other half of court.

Variations:
  1. Count net crosses instead of touches.
  2. The fewer the people on each half the court the more work they will do, you need a minimum of 3 on each half.
