Hitting: Pass Retreat and Hit

Objectives:
To practice getting into good position to hit after a pass.

  1. Tosser tips a ball in front of the Hitter.
  2. Hitter steps forward and passes ball back to Tosser.
  3. Hitter retreats back to get into position to start their approach.
  4. Tosser tosses a  back row attack for the Hitter.
  5. Hitter approaches aggressively and attacks.
  6. Repeat for a set number of repetitions.
  7. Hitter and Tosser switch duties.

Variations:
  1. Hitter must overhead pass the ball tipped in front of them.
  2. Tosser sets the ball instead of tossing.
  3. Add a blocker on the net behind the Tosser.
