Water Aerobic Crew

The USC Aiken Wellness Center and Natatorium has a wonderful program dedicated to the senior population.  This mission of the 60 Plus Seniors Program is to enhance the quality of life of the participants by providing supervised programs embracing healthy lifestyle choices.  

This program includes a scheduled time to utilize the Wellness Center, group fitness classes during each session and individual attention when you want it.  The class size during each time slot is limited to 55 participants.

60 Plus Senior Program Brochure

Requirements to Join the 60 Plus Seniors Program

  1. Members must be a minimum of 60 years old
  2. Members must complete an initial meeting with Woodrow Price, Special Programs Coordinator, to enroll in the Seniors Program.  A medical release must be completed by your physician as well as a medical history form and informed consent completed at the time of registration. 
  3. A parking permit will be given at the time of registration.  This permit must be displayed in the rear window of the vehicle.

Membership Fees

$120 per year or $60 for 6 months.

Class Descriptions

Senior Water Aerobics

The Senior Water Aerobics class meets on M/W/F from 9:30-10:30am in the pool.  This program is focused on exercises for the older adult.  The cost is $20 for a 10 class punch pass.  You can attend the first class for free to see if you like it. Membership to the Natatorium is not required.  To join the Senior Water Aerobics class all you have to do is come to the Natatorium and sign up.

Stretch Gold

A series of stretching exercises will be performed to improve joint flexibility.

Strength Gold

A strength class geared toward the older adult.

Yoga Gold

Geared toward the older adult, this class will focus on balance, strength and flexibility. A chair can be used during the class.
