The mission of the USCA Wellness Program is to provide the USCA family and extended community access to safe, clean, well-equipped facilities and trained, caring staff. We deliver education and training for students through academic program support and specialized experiences. Our innovative exercise and rehabilitation programs promote a healthy lifestyle for participants.

           The USCA Wellness Program is open to individuals with an affiliation to the University. This affiliation may be as students, faculty and staff, community members working on USCA boards and committees, employees of Aiken County Government, individuals participating in special Wellness Center programming or as donors to the USCA Partnership.
 
 

 
USCA Wellness Center

        The USCA Wellness Center is a 25,000 square foot facility located in the Business and Education Building. A large fitness area includes cardiovascular equipment (bikes, rowers, treadmills, ski machines, elliptical crosstrainers and stair steppers), selectorized and plate-loaded Nautilus weight equipment, dumbbells and a 1/16 mile walking track. There is a carpeted aerobics room with wall to wall mirrors, gymnasium, Jacuzzi, dry sauna, locker rooms, and an exercise physiology laboratory, as well as an instructional classroom. The facility is supervised by CPR trained staff.

USCA Natatorium

        The USCA Natatorium is a 25 yard indoor/outdoor facility located in the Student Activities Center. The pool, designed for lap swimming, is 4 feet to 10¸ feet deep and has six lanes. The average temperature of the pool is 82 degrees. Lockerrooms and shower facilities are provided. The facility is open 7 days/week with over 40 open swim hours available. Lifeguard supervision is provided. Open hours vary according to semester.
