Adrienne Banko is a Pennsylvania native who received a BA in both Political Science and Spanish from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She moved to South Carolina to attend graduate school at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina and earned an M.A. in Spanish. Ms. Banko is continuing her studies at the University of South Carolina and is hoping to complete the Ph.D. in Spanish in the near future. Her area of study includes historic memory in post-Franco literature.
