Dr. Harrison holds the School of Business Global Business Chair. He teaches accounting and international business, specializing in managerial accounting. He brings over twenty years of work experience to the classroom supporting these areas. He has worked in audit, consulting, financial, and managerial accounting positions for Deloite, International Paper, and SONY. He is a CPA and CMA. He helped to develop the Business School's Study Abroad and Exchange programs in Europe, which is an important academic and personal growth opportunity for USCA students. Visit that website, and check it out... You never know, you might be the next to go on the trip. His research interests include activity-based costing, decision-making, and accounting & international education.
He is originally from New York, where he still has some strong ties, including his daughter Kathleen, son-in-law Russell and two wonderful granddaughters, Natasha and Hudson (named after the beautiful river where the family boats all summer). His latest degree is from Virginia Tech, where daughter numero two, Whitney Cinderella, lives (Virginia) with her husband Todd, Mr. Perfect (Harrison, first grandchild), Miss Cora Chelsea, and Gabe, all rounding out the collection of delightful grandchildren. There’s an equal number of doggies in the overall clan, who as yet do not get to enjoy the couple of weeks that the two-leggers do at Pawleys Island each summer. Dave and Lynne (his lovely N.Y. wife, of more than several years) are very happy in Aiken, only miss the snow hypothetically, and do whatever Topper says.
