Biography
After graduating with a Bachelors in Theatre from Bryan College in 2013, Emilie stuck around & worked as an Admissions Counselor for Bryan's Adult Studies/Online programs.
Emilie went on to receive her MA in Theatre from Louisiana Tech University in 2018 where she studied Arts Administration & Directing and served as a Graduate Assistant. During her studies she had several opportunities to direct, including a Graduate Showcase production of Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts.
She has worked professionally in the Arts at The Brevard Music Center in Brevard, NC, & The Rev Theatre Company (formerly The FingerLakes Musical Theatre Festival) in Auburn, NY.
Along with tackling her duties as the Administrative Assistant for both The Etherredge Center & the Dept. of Visual & Performing Arts, Emilie also directed a ten minute play titled "LAVALOOOOOG!!!" (written by Paul B. Crook & performed by UofSC Aiken Student Andrew Randolph), which was filmed & available to students for ICE Credit while the University was operating remotely/online due to COVID-19 in the Spring of 2020.
Emilie hails from Dayton, TN & currently resides in Aiken, SC.
