Throughout the year, the Office of Alumni Relations is asked any number of questions about services available to alumni at USC Aiken, privileges they enjoy on campus, and University business. How can I join the Alumni Association? What are the benefits?
Any USCA graduate can become a member of the association by making a tax-deductible monetary contribution annually in any amount to the university through the Aiken Partnership. Checks or money orders may be mailed to USCA Alumni Relations Office, 471 University Parkway, Aiken, SC 29801.
You may also give your gift online. When completing the online form be sure to select USC AIKEN for the Campus, so your gift comes to your alma mater.
You can make gift designations on the memo line of your check or online or simply give to the area of greatest need. Within a short time, you will receive an alumni identification card, car decal, and a thank you letter of receipt for your tax records.
How can I update my alumni information?
Alumni can easily update their information through this online form or by emailing the Office of Alumni Relations at This email address is being protected from spambots. Although name changes due to marriage, divorce or other reasons can be updated in the alumni database, official name changes on your USCA course record have to made and verified through the USC Registrar’s Office in Columbia. May I use the Gregg-Graniteville Library even if I am no longer a student at USC Aiken?
As an added benefit, current giving members of the USCA Alumni Association with an unexpired membership card receive access to the library and its resources. To obtain a library card, members must go to the library and present their Alumni Association card. There is no fee for borrowing books, and alumni are subject to the same library policies as students. For more information, call the Library at 803-641-3465.
I would like to make a contribution to USC Aiken in memory or in honor of a friend. What is the procedure for this?
With your check, which should be made payable to the Aiken Partnership, send a note stating that the contribution is being made in memory or honor of the friend and give the full name, and if possible, the graduate’s class year. For more information, call 803-641-3518.
I am planning to enter/re-enter/make a move within the working world. Can I get help from USC Aiken?
Alumni are welcome to use the resources in the Career Services Office including the online job posting board. Appointments are encouraged for individual meetings with the staff of Career Services. For more information, please contact Corey Feraldi at 803-641-3280.
How can I get a copy of my USC Aiken transcript?
An official copy of a transcript has to be requested from the USC Columbia campus. A written request can be submitted by fax, mail or in person. Official transcripts are $8.00 per copy. Graduates from 1977 to present who have a valid PIN may submit a request online using the Visual Information Processing (VIP) at http://www.vip.sc.edu/. I know someone who is interested in attending USC Aiken. Is it possible to get a guided tour of the campus?
Yes. Tours of the campus are managed by the Office of Admissions and given throughout the year for prospective students. Admissions staff members or student ambassadors lead the tours. For more information, telephone 803-641-3366.
I’ve graduated, but I would like to take some more courses for professional development and/or personal enrichment. What do I need to do?
The first step is to contact the Admissions Office to see how you will be classified, since there are a few different categories. The number is 803-641-3366. If you are a South Carolina resident of at least sixty (60) years of age, you may be eligible tp take courses for free at USC Aiken.
