Each year, distinguished alumni who embrace the university's values —character, citizenship, curiosity, and collegiality— are selected to be part of USCA’s Core 4.

Who is Eligible?

Individuals who have obtained an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree from USC Aiken.

Alumni who have completed a substantial amount of coursework but did not graduate (ie…Engineering majors prior to that degree being offered at our campus, Banksia era transfer students, etc..) are also eligible for nomination.

Graduates and alumni must embrace the university values of character, citizenship, curiosity, and collegiality.

Self-nominations will not be accepted. Current Alumni Board members are ineligible for this award.

The Process

  1. Each year from October 1 - January 22, the Alumni Executive Board will collect nominations via the Core 4 Nomination Form.
  2. Nominations are reviewed, and eligible nominees are contacted to accept the nomination.
  3. Winners will be announced at USC Aiken’s Homecoming Alumni Reception. Plaques will be awarded during an on court ceremony during the game.

To nominate an alumni who exemplifies these values professionally and personally, please fill out the nomination form when it becomes available.

Thanks for your nominations! The nomination period for 2020 has now closed. Attend Homecoming on February 22 to see which alumni are chosen for this award! Please consider nominating an alum next year when nominations re-open.
