The Center for Research Excellence is pleased to announce Scholar Showcase 2019. This spring will mark our 12th annual celebration of the work of our students and their faculty mentors.
This year's event will begin with a Molecular Biology/Biomedical oral session on Thursday afternoon, April 11 and continue with student presentations throughout the following day, Friday, April 12. Thursdays oral session is sponsored by the USC Aiken Passport to Research Opportunities in Biomedicine (PROBe) program, which is supported by SC INBRE (Idea Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence) through a grant from the US National Institutes of Health.
Friday's event will include concurrent morning and afternoon oral sessions and an afternoon poster session. In addition to more traditional oral or poster presentations, creative projects will be showcased through visual art displays, theatrical or musical performances, or readings.
All students involved in scholarly activities are encouraged to participate.
The event is free, but registration is required for participation. We encourage all USC Aiken faculty to support this exceptional undergraduate experience through undergraduate mentorship, suitable course projects, or participation as session moderators.
