Senior Videographer (Public Information Director I)

The Senior Videographer creates video content that supports strategic university brand initiatives. This position creates content that supports the storytelling of the university and is used on the university homepage, core site, news, digital and web formats of major print publications, major university events, and social media. This role also involves purchasing, maintaining, and organizing video, production, and computer equipment. Associate Director of Admissions - Recruitment (Student Services Manager I)

The Associate Director of Admissions supervises enrollment counselors in the Office of Admissions. Represents USC Aiken for the purpose of recruiting new students, using USC Aiken Admissions’ territory management system. Makes efforts encouraging prospects and their families to visit campus, creating additional applications for admission, and following-up with previous applicants. Counsels prospective students/parents as well as high school guidance counselors/administrators. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of enterprise systems (ideally Ellucian), university specific or corporate CRM’s, and various Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, and ability to balance priorities. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and public presentation skills. Ability to build relationships with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Master’s degree. Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will assist Director in daily tasks that include document and memo creating, policy editing, deposit writing, creation of brochures, handbooks, and parent communications, researching effective classroom methods, and assisting with accreditations, maintenance of waitlist, conducting tours for protentional parents and interviews with potential employees, scheduling for director and staff as well as the greeting of parents and other visitors to the center. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of MS Suites, Google Suits, Canva, Adobe Lightroom. Skilled in dealing with public and customer service. Ability to schedule, problem solve under pressure, assist director, and bookkeeping. Pre-employment physical and tuberculin skin test required to meet Child Care and Development Block Grant regulations. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 or more years of job related experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials: Must have Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Training or successfully complete both programs within 60 days of acceptance of the position. Lead Teacher (Care Center Coordinator)

The Lead Teacher will implement instructional programs and provide quality care for children enrolled in the USC Aiken Children's Center. In addition they will implement the regulations established by the South Carolina Department of Social Services, the Child Care and Development Block Grant and the National Association for the Education of Young Children Accreditation Standards. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Skilled with children in a classroom setting to include diapering and care of young children. Pre-employment physical and tuberculin skin test required to meet Child Care and Development Block Grant regulations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials: Must have Infant/Toddler First Aid/CPR or obtain these certifications within 60 days of hire. Building and Grounds Specialist III (Building/Grounds Supervisor I)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of grounds keeping maintenance standards, requirements, and tasks. Enforce and/or practice safe work habits. Knowledge of sprinkler system design, maintenance and turf grass management. Knowledge of personal computer and Excel spreadsheets. Good skills in written and oral communication. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Requires no prior work experience. Preferred: 2 years of related experience. Purchasing Manager (Procurement Manager I)

Directly reporting to the Executive Director of Campus Auxiliary & Support Services, the Purchasing Manager shall serve as the primary point person for all university procurement processes, insurance administration and will assist with departmental administrative support and campus scheduling through 25Live. Knowledge of legislation, regulations, State and University policies and procedures governing the procurement of goods and services. Familiarization with SC Consolidated Procurement Code. Ability to analyze and evaluate factors in the awarding of contracts. Ability to communicate effectively. Minimum Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC), CPPO or CPPB. NIGP- CPP is preferred.

Operations Project Manager (Engineer/Associate Engineer III)

Under limited supervision, manages and coordinates all tasks associated with one or more major, multi-agency, or enterprise projects of significant complexity and risk. Manages and coordinates all task associated with major and minor construction projects at USC Aiken including new construction renovation, infrastructure improvements and deferred maintenance. Reports to the Senior University Facilities Executive. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge in facility design and construction. Extensive knowledge of project management methodology and working knowledge of theory and practices in multiple engineering disciplines. Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Master’s degree preferred. Certified PMP, Professional Engineering Certificate, Certificate of Construction management. Hands on experience with AutoCAD a plus.
