Health and Fitness Management

Department of Exercise and Sports Science

The Health and Fitness Management concentration prepares students for employment in fitness centers, wellness centers, corporate fitness programs, and parks and recreation programs. A minor in business administration may often potentiate employment in areas such as exercise or medical equipment sales.

To graduate, the student must have a USC System cumulative 2.0 GPA. Following each semester where the student’s USC System cumulative GPA is below 2.0, the Exercise and Sports Science Chair will notify the student in writing. Completing the degree requirements for the Exercise and Sports Science major with a concentration in Fitness Management requires 125 - 127 total credit hours.
