Alumni Email Account

Alumni email accounts are now available!

Please include the following information in your email:

  • Full name at time of graduation
  • Current full name if different than at the time of graduation
  • Graduation date
  • USCA student email address
  • Alternate contact email address
  • Contact phone number

You will receive an email with detailed setup instructions and contact information to use if you require additional assistance. You'll usually receive the email or a phone call by the next business day.

  1. Go to outlook.com/alumni.usca.edu
  2. Enter your new alumni address as the Username. It's your Pacer Account username followed by @alumni.usca.edu.  For example, if my Pacer Account Username was smithjthen my new alumni email address will be This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  3. You'll need to stop by or contact the Help Desk by email to receive your initial password.  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.to send an email to the Help Desk to request an Alumni Account.
  4. On the Office 365 site, click Outlook to open the Outlook web app.  You must sign into the Outlook web app at least once before accessing the account by any other method.
  5. Set your Time zone to Eastern. You'll need to scroll to the top and then find the Eastern time zone.  It's the 16th from the top.
  6. Once the Time Zone is set, click Save.

You'll see your new Inbox and should begin using this account as soon as possible.  Be sure to notify every one of your new email address!

No.  Your alumni email account will be different from your previous @usca.edu account.  This is required by Microsoft.

Students will continue to use their Pacer Account username as part of their email address, but @usca.edu will become @alumni.usca.edu. For example, a student who previously used This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. would now use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or something similar as their email address.

Unfortunately, there is no longer an automated method to copy messages from your old account to your new alumni account.  The best method now available is to manually forward individual messages you would like to keep to your new alumni account.

You'll have a few months from the time you graduate to complete setup of your new account.  Regular student email accounts are removed after one year of non-activity as a student, but once you switch to your Alumni account, it’s yours for life!
