To get started with registration, you'll need your VIP ID and VIP Password to log into the SSC system.
You can reach the Self Service Carolina site by going directly to: http://ssc.onecarolina.sc.edu or access it from Links section of the my.sc.edu site.
Under the Student Records tab, click Academic Transcript.
Select your Transcript Level (Undergraduate or Graduate). Transcript Type should remain "Advising".
Click Submit and your full unofficial transcript will be shown.
Under the Registration tab, click Week at a Glance for a visual of your schedule.
See the screen below when you try to register for a class? No problem, just see your adviser to have the Advisement Hold removed. They'll do this when you come in for advisement.
If you've already been advised and the hold is still on, stop back by and have them correct this so you can register.
Looking for more detailed information on a class?
Just click the CRN in the class section listing.
You can see the campus location, lecture type, instructional method, credit hours and more. You can even send an email to the instructor.
Clicking the "View Catalog Entry" link on the page shown above will show even more information like a detailed class synopsis.
Don't know the CRN? No problem.
Just click Look Up Classes in the Registration menu.
