Voicemail

USC Aiken uses the SpydurPBX Voicemail System.  The system allows access to your voicemail using email, the web and phone.  An app may also be available for your device.

Before you can begin using your voicemail box, you'll need to call into the system with your office phone to set the box up.

How do I setup my voicemail account?

  3. Enter your voicemail box number (this may be a 5 or 6 digit number and begins with a 9)
  4. You must change your password now to properly setup your voicemail box
  5. Follow the prompts to set up three greetings: your standard greeting, your busy greeting, your name
  6. Hang up then call yourself to leave a test voicemail (it will arrive in your email inbox shortly)

  4. Press * as soon as your personal greeting begins to play
  5. Enter your password (you should have set this when you initially setup your box)
  6. Press 0 for "Mailbox Options"
  7. Press 4 for "Temporary Greeting"
  8. Record your temporary greeting as prompted and press # when you're done
  9. Then press 1 to accept the recorded temporary greeting or press 2 to re-record
  10. Your temporary greeting is now active, remember to go back into the "Temporary Greeting" options and follow the prompts to turn it off, once you return from vacation
