Established in 1991 and expanded in 2005, the USC Aiken's Honors Program offers academically talented, highly motivated students opportunities for enriched learning experiences both in and outside the classroom.

Honors students participate in a unique learning community that enjoys small classes and independent study under the direction of USC Aiken's best teacher-scholars in a program that cultivates critical thinking, analysis, and creative expression.

Incoming honors students who have SAT scores of at least 1170 or ACT scores of at least 24 may apply to the Honors Program. Continuing university students with 45 credit hours or less and a USC Aiken GPA of 3.5 or higher may also apply.
