USC Aiken University Housing Minor Policy
Here at USC Aiken, we are committed to protecting the welfare of minors who participate in programs that are held/present on campus. This policy has been established to ensure appropriate supervision and protection of minors on campus during programs, regardless of location.
Any outside organization that has participants that are under the age of 18 will have to follow these policies while utilizing summer housing at USC Aiken. Failure to follow all procedures within the Minor Policy will result in possible termination of reservation.
After submitting your organization reservation form, a University Housing staff member will be sending the appropriate documents that will need to be completed by all minor participants before arriving on campus (i.e., Waiver of Liability and Media Release, Health, and Emergency Information, Consent Form for Medications and Medical Devices).
Eligibility for Summer Housing
Housing for the summer semester applies to all groups with a single organization making payment for accommodations. Groups may include interns, camps, conferences, or competitions billed on one invoice. The application must be completed to reserve the dates for your organization. Once completed, the contact person listed will receive a notification of availability from University Housing.
Information on Residential Building
Group housing will be offered in Pacer Crossings during the summer 2023 semester unless stated otherwise. Pacer Crossings is a furnished suite-style residential building with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a closet, and a living room. Suites are provided with a mini fridge and microwave in each bedroom. - Two large meeting areas on the 1st and 4th floor
- Two hallway kitchens on each floor

Assignments
Groups that wish to assign their own participants to specific room/roommates may do so. A University Housing staff member will provide a contact person with available room spaces during the designated dates stated on the reservation form. The assignments must be turned in 14 days before arrival.
Groups that wish to have University Housing assign specific rooms/roommates will need to provide participants and genders list 14 days before arrival.
Check-in and Check-out Information
Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. and check-out will be up until 5:00 p.m. in the Pacer Crossings office during the date submitted on the application. Any organization wishing to check in before the time indicated must have written approval seven days prior from the Director of Housing and Residence Life.
Housing for camps, conferences, and competitions will be available starting on Sunday, May 28, 2023, to Sunday, July 30, 2023. Dates are subject to change.

All organizations will receive an invoice to the email address indicated on the application after departure, and final room inspections have been completed. Payments shall be made to University Housing within 10 days after receipt of final billing. Please report any billing error within 30 days after receipt of the final billing.
University Housing and USC Aiken Policies
All USC Aiken and University Housing policies contained within the Community Guide will remain in effect throughout the summer. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal.
