USC Aiken Residents may purchase storage bins to store items over summer. The Storage bins are $25/bin and you may keep them when you return to collect your items. The charge will be placed on the students University account or can be paid by cash, card, or check in the Housing Central Office.

Storage bin dimensions: 13.03"H x 22"W x 16.5"D. 54 qt. capacity. Buckle-up latches secure contents inside.

The University assumes no liability for personal damages or losses.  Residents are advised to not keep valuable property or large sums of money in storage.  In addition, residents are strongly encouraged to obtain insurance to cover their personal belongings and valuables. 

USC Aiken Local Resident Housing Scholarship

Congratulations on being offered the opportunity to apply for the USC Aiken Local Resident Housing Scholarship. It is offered only to new students who meet the following requirements:

  • Reside within 35 miles of the university and are not required to live on campus
  • Will be enrolled as a student at USC Aiken in the fall 2023 semester
  • Earned a 3.0 or higher GPA in high school and/or your last institution
  • Must have completed community service

Remember to complete the USC Aiken Housing Application as well. Once this application is complete, you can set up roommate groups and select rooms starting May 1, 2023.

 

About On-Campus Living

Once you are a resident on campus, you will be able to participate in all of the programs that help residents become academically successful and engaged with the university community. Living on campus helps to connect students to the campus in meaningful ways. Students living on campus have greater opportunities to get involved in activities and their studies, meet with tutors, advisors, and faculty.

The deadline for submitting a scholarship application is June 30, 2023

 

University Housing understands that you may have not been able to select the room you wanted or have not yet selected a room. You must fill out the Room Changes Form in order for us to best accommodate your preference/s.

We may not have the availability to place you exactly where you want. These changes are then assigned based on first come, first serve and may not occur until late summer.

University Housing has limited availability for Double as Single and Single rooms. If you could not obtain one of these spaces during the room selection process, you must fill out the Double as Single and Single Room waitlist. These rooms are then assigned baes on a first-come, first-serve basis and may not occur until late summer.

Double as single and Single rooms are not offered to incoming freshmen unless an accommodation is provided to us by Disability Services. If we have additional spaces, we may offer them as Double as Single rooms for incoming freshmen. There is a separate form for incoming freshmen that will be opened mid-summer.
