Palmetto College is an online degree completion program offered by USC campuses throughout the state. The USC Campuses that have Palmetto College programs include: Columbia, Aiken, Upstate, and Beaufort. The program is designed for students who have already completed their general education requirements and need to finish their undergraduate degree online.

USC Aiken’s Palmetto College program offers degrees in Business/Management, Business/Accounting and Special Education. The requirements for these degrees are the same as those for the on-campus program.

USC Aiken’s Palmetto College business programs are accredited through ACCSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and the Special Education program by NCATE (National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education).

To be eligible for this online degree program, students must have:

45-60 credit hours from a regionally accredited institution and completion of specific courses. GPA Requirements are as follows:

Business program: minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA

Special Education: minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA

Yes, many of our students have full time jobs already. Palmetto College is designed for professionals who want to complete a bachelor’s degree. Palmetto College students can choose to take a full load of courses, or attend part-time.

All the required textbooks can be bought though our bookstore, which is available online. The list of required textbooks for each course will be on the USC Aiken Bookstore website and on the syllabus provided by your instructor.
