Create a career in the arts, pursue one of three art degrees at USCA

Take your creative spirit and artistic style and build a rewarding career using your self-expression. At USCA, our Bachelor of Arts in Art degrees help you channel your creativity as you study various topics and learn how to innovate and think outside the box.

Our art majors gain a strong foundation in design history, practice, and theory to solve critical challenges better and tackle complex problems using their creative vision. When you choose to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Art at USCA, you have the option to specialize in one of three areas:

  • Art history degree concentration — Gain a greater understanding of artistic contexts, practices, and traditions that compose historical and contemporary art and architecture. Art history degree concentration students also gain hands-on learning through practicum courses, a capstone project, and undergraduate research.
  • Graphic design degree concentration — Designers can impact our everyday lives from video games to advertisements, websites to billboards. Graphic design degree concentration students gain the skills to enter this expansive field and pursue hands-on experiences through internships, capstone projects, and more.
  • Digital and studio art degree concentration —Whether it’s 2D, 3D, or digital design, our digital and studio art degree concentration will equip you with the training to create art in various mediums. You’ll have the option to pursue an internship as well as a capstone project and capstone exhibition.

No matter which Bachelor of Arts in Art degree you pursue, you’ll have the knowledge and know-how to pursue an artistic career in nearly any profession and industry.
