Parent & Family Relations
Dear Pacer Families,
Welcome to USCA!
On behalf of our talented and dedicated faculty and staff, we are thrilled that your student has chosen to become a Pacer.
We understand that selecting a college is a family decision and commitment, and we appreciate the confidence and trust that you have placed in us. Be assured that at USCA your student will receive a world-class education—one that they will find engaging and rewarding and one that will prepare them to be career and world-ready upon graduation. Our active and engaged teaching and learning experiences occur inside and outside the classroom. Your student will have opportunities to study abroad in fascinating places, conduct ground-breaking research alongside their faculty and fellow students, engage in impactful community service learning, participate in career-focused internships, and participate in other high-impact and “hands-on” learning experiences.
In addition to the continued support and encouragement you will provide your college student, our personalized academic and student services, resources, and engaging extracurricular activities will optimize their experience and envelop them with support that will guide them to success. It is no wonder that USC Aiken is ranked as the #1 Regional Comprehensive Public College in the South by U.S. News & World Report and is a designated College of Distinction.
The Office of Parent and Family Relations will be key in assisting your family and your student during their transition to college and beyond. The Office will keep you apprised about our services, university events, important dates, and other resources to help your student succeed at USCA and beyond.
Thank you for supporting your student’s decision to attend USCA and your partnership with us in supporting your student’s transformative educational journey.
Once again, welcome to the Pacer family!

Parents and families play a pivotal role in deciding what type of higher education their students should pursue and what institution they should attend. We realize that parents and families are unique stakeholders in student success and consequently, the university's overall success.
Our goal is to support you as you support your student. The Office of Parent and Family Relations will strive to:
- Engage Pacer families and help them to understand and prepare their students for the transition to college;
- Inform Pacer families of important dates, extracurricular activities, and USCA events;
- Connect Pacer families with tools and resources so that they can help their students grow, mature, and succeed at USCA.
Thank you for supporting your student’s decision to attend USCA, and welcome to the extended Pacer family!
