Building Exams in Microsoft Word to Import Into Blackboard

Rather than enter your exam questions into Blackboard one at a time, there are exam generator options that can help streamline building your exams.

Familiarize yourself with the Test Generator file for instructions on formatting exam questions.
Use this exam_template.txt to create your exam questions.
Use the BYU Generator to paste your exam questions in order to get the plain text file that will be imported into Blackboard (see sample file:example_template_bb.txt).

The Respondus Lockdown Browser is a site-licensed application for USC. The browser is used to increase the integrity of your online exams. While in use, students are prohibited from using any other application or resource on their computer until they have completed the exam.
