Overview
The USC Aiken Bachelor of Arts in Special Education degree is designed to prepare you for success as a teacher of special needs children in grades K-12.
The curriculum provides a foundation upon which the pedagogy and pedagogical content knowledge are built and dispositions such as responsible citizenship, respect for diversity, and cross-cultural understandings are developed. Your education degree from USC Aiken will prepare you to become a successful Dynamic Educator who can plan, instruct, manage, communicate, and grow professionally.

Students must have 45-60 hours of college credit to apply for this online degree program. If you haven't earned your hours yet, you can do so at any of our Palmetto College campuses statewide, or at any technical college. Program Length
The Professional Program will take 2.5 years to complete. If you work full-time and would like to take a lighter course load, we can accommodate you.
