This program is designed to provide a program for students who are interested in health-related areas of study, but are not focused on clinical careers such as nursing or medicine.
When you pursue a Public Health degree, you will choose a science or community health concentration which will provide specific coursework for those interested in either a career in healthcare (Community Health) or for those interested in more applied training through a Science concentration.
This program is designed to create more public health and wellness professionals, each of which continues to be in great demand both in the state and nationally.

Courses in the Bachelor of Science in Public Health are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of public health challenges and the skills to address them effectively. When you pursue a Public Health degree, you'll take courses such as:
- Environmental Health. Discover the critical relationship between the environment and human health in this essential course. Students learn about the impact of environmental factors such as air and water quality, climate change, and industrial pollution on health outcomes.
