International students will receive USCA updates and welcome emails prior to arrival on campus. The Office of International Programs provides airport transportation for international students. Please review the transportation policy below before finalizing flight arrangements. Complete and submit the USCA Airport Transportation Form to book transportation to campus.
Transportation Policy
The Office of International Programs (OIP) at USC Aiken offers airport transportation service to and from Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Augusta Regional Airport, and Groome Transportation (Augusta) for international students on select dates at the beginning and end of each semester.
At the beginning and end of the semester, OIP will provide one or two days designated for airport transportation. Outside of these dates, students will be responsible for obtaining their own transportation to the airport or Aiken. Due to the large number of international students needing transportation, trips will be scheduled at intervals throughout the day to reduce the number of trips. Students will be notified in advance of the time of their pick-up or drop-off.
In order to be eligible for the transportation service, the following must apply:
- Student must be traveling to/from Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Augusta Regional Airport, or Groome Transportation Augusta.
- Student’s flight must be on a designated transportation day.
- Student’s flight must fit into the time schedule indicated below.
- Student must confirm transportation needs with OIP staff by the indicated deadline.

NOTE: If you arrive before the scheduled arrival date, you must make arrangements to stay elsewhere until your housing is available.

Orientation
There will be an orientation for international students. At this orientation, you will become more familiar with USCA and the requirements you must fulfill as an international student.
