Sue Berkowitz, Esq. is the Director of the SC Appleseed Legal Justice
Center, where she also works as an attorney. Ms Berkowitz earned her BS
in History at the University of South Carolina Columbia and her law
degree at Western New England University. Her many accomplishments
include her recent work on the Michelle H. v. McMaster lawsuit on behalf
of foster care children in the state of South Carolina.

Dr. Jeremy Young is the Interim Executive Director of the Coalition for
Responsible Home Education and is the communications and marketing
manager at the American Historical Association. He earned his Ph.D. in
US History from Indiana University and previously was an assistant
professor of history at Dixie State University. Dr. Young is the author
of The Age of Charisma: Leaders, Followers, and Emotions in American
Society, 1870-1940.
