The RPSEC Traveling Science and Mathematics Demonstrations Program, with the support of volunteer scientists, engineers, and outreach programs backed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, trains K-12 teachers in the CSRA, offers access to science equipment not usually available in schools, and connects classroom science with real-world applications for both teachers and students.

Teachers in the CSRA can borrow equipment kits and request classroom visits from volunteer scientists or engineers. STRAND (Scientists with Traveling Resources And Neat Demonstrations) provides engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities to classrooms across the CSRA.
