As a public comprehensive institution, we aim to prepare students for success by challenging them to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, learn independently, and acquire breadth and depth of interdisciplinary knowledge. Your gift contributes to student success and helps the university prepare them for careers in a diverse global environment.

The university strives to be excellent stewards of your gifts by managing financial and information systems that provide accurate information and timely reports.

The Aiken Partnership leads USCA’s fundraising efforts for scholarships and other financial support. 

Established in 1980 as an affiliate of the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation, the Aiken Partnership uses all funds raised to further the institution’s quest for excellence in all areas and to support programs that are not funded at all or are not adequately funded through state appropriations.

The Aiken Partnership distributes up to $2.4 million a year to support the university, with about $1 million directly going to support student scholarships.

Strong donor support for scholarships means that half of our students pay nothing out-of-pocket for tuition and fees, nearly 75% pay less than half of these expenses, and about 30% of our students graduate with no debt.
