USCA Men’s Golf Complex and First Tee – Aiken’s Chalk Mine 9
Through a successful partnership, and with the generosity of many private donors, USC Aiken and First Tee – Aiken officially opened the new USCA Men’s Golf Complex and First Tee – Aiken Chalk Mine 9 in September 2022.
Both organizations thank Jim McNair and Three Amigos, LLC, who designed and developed these prime acres on the University of South Carolina Aiken’s campus.
Split into two different areas, the 38-acre USCA Golf Complex is now the home of the USC Aiken Men’s Golf Team. Winning the NCAA Division II National Team Championships, (2004, 2005 and 2006), and Coach Carlisle’s 8-time Division II Region/District Coach of the Year Award and 7-time Peach Belt Conference Coach, this complex is now the prominent home for our Pacer Golf team. The driving range, short game, and putting green allows our players ample time to practice before a game. It’s also an excellent recruiting tool for the university and future golf phenoms.
This complex is also the permanent home of Aiken’s First Tee Learning program and Chalk Mine 9. After school programming and special clinics are available for students aged 5-18. First Tee’s youth development organization enables kids to build leadership skills and character through the game of golf. To find out more about First – Tee Aiken, click here.
