Student Code of Conduct

The University of South Carolina Aiken Student Handbook exists to inform students of their rights and responsibilities as members of our campus community. Students are required to abide by the behavior outlined in the Academic and Non-Academic Student Codes of Conduct. These codes articulate the expectations of the university regarding student behavior and the process by which the university will respond to alleged violations of either code.

The University Judicial Board (UJB) is a group of students and faculty who review cases in which there are alleged violations of the Academic or Non-Academic Code of Conduct in an effort to determine if a violation(s) took place and what appropriate sanction(s) should be assigned. Students can get involved with the UJB by applying. The application becomes available in the spring of each year.

For more information about the judicial processes, please refer to the USCA Student Handbook and the Judicial Affairs pages.
