Peer Mentors
Mentors
LIFE Mentors are a core part of the USCA LIFE Program, supporting every pillar of our program including social engagement, job coaching, wellness, and independent living. They build meaningful relationships with LIFE students, offering both friendship and valuable guidance on how to make and maintain lasting connections. Their ongoing support helps keep the LIFE students thriving and well-rounded.

LIFE Resident Assistants (LRAs)
LIFE Resident Assistants (LRAs) play an important role in supporting LIFE students as they navigate independent living in Pacer Commons. Each LRA has three LIFE students, offering guidance and encouragement to help them manage daily responsibilities like keeping up with chores and staying organized. LRAs promote independence while also being a friendly, familiar face both on campus and at home. In return for their support and leadership, LRAs receive a $3,000 a year stipend, free housing, private dorm rooms, and two weekends off each month, making it a rewarding and meaningful experience for both the LRAs and the students they support.
