Many organizations publish journals with important information regarding pedagogy, curriculum, professional development, etc. Some organizations also participate or sponsor either local, regional or national conferences that are not only valuable for professional development but also create a superior networking opportunity.

Kappa Delta Pi - Psi Xi Chapter
Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education, established to recognize scholastic achievement and promote a commitment to education as a career. The University of South Carolina Aiken proudly hosts the Psi Xi chapter of this prestigious society, offering its members opportunities for professional development, scholarships, and a network of educational professionals. Through involvement in Kappa Delta Pi, USCA students and faculty unite in their dedication to educational excellence and leadership in the field.

Scholarships
The School of Education offers a variety of scholarship opportunities designed to support aspiring educators enrolled in its programs. These scholarships are generously funded through endowments and donations from alumni and community members who are committed to supporting the future of education.
- Betty Miller Galardi Endowed Scholarship: Special Education major, Junior/Senior, GPA ≥ 3.0
- Delta Kappa Gamma, Beta Delta Chapter Scholarship Fund: Full-time Education major, Junior/Senior, GPA ≥ 2.5
- Eric Montrell Stallings Education Scholarship: For Call Me MISTER Program participants majoring in Education, GPA ≥ 2.75, renewable
- Irene Y. Curtis Multicultural Scholarship: Full-time student, preference for Education majors, renewable with GPA ≥ 3.0
- Margaret Riedell Children's Literature Scholarship Endowment: Elementary Education major, excelled in Children's Literature Course, enrolled in Professional Program
- Martha E. Unkel Memorial Scholarship Fund: Early Childhood Education major, Sophomore/Senior, GPA ≥ 3.0, minimum $700/year
- Sherri McDaniel Jenik Endowed Scholarship for Special Education: Special Education major, freshman with predicted GPA ≥ 2.5 or Sophomore/Senior with actual GPA ≥ 2.5, renewable
- Blanche King Rutland Memorial Scholarship: Full-time USCA student, cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 or SAT ≥ 850, preference for Secondary Education (History) majors, financial need considered
- Dr. Elizabeth S. Bell Memorial Scholarship: Full-time rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, GPA > or equivalent to 3.0, and consideration of each applicant’s background and unique ability to contribute to the USC Aiken Community based on their life experiences as individuals.
- Emma Salley Education Scholarship: School of Education students, preference for students from Salley, SC, and those with financial need
- Huffer Endowed Scholarship in Education Fund: Full-time Education major, preference for students with financial need
- Prude McCord-Ioneene Huggins Memorial Education Scholarship Fund: Junior Education major, academically outstanding, Aiken County resident, financial need
- Mike Snow and Linda Soyars Endowed Scholarship: Full-time non-traditional Secondary Education major, GPA ≥ 3.0, SC public school graduate, financial need, recommendation from the Dean
